April O'Donovans Update

No reversing without a banksman they say... hilarious. These were taken by a resident trying to leave the park with a 4 year old and 8 month old twins...

They now have three sites and every day they park on yellow lines on a corner. Every day they get away with it. And of course their lorries can't actually access their new site on Constable Crescent without using both pavements, blocking the road and again making life for residents interminable. Where oh, where are the council?

Oh, and did I mention the verbal abuse a resident received for daring to toot a lorry when trying to get it to move so she could get past? That one was witnessed by Jackie O'D so no denials possible there. And for once something that the council is not indirectly responsible for!

  1. I unfortunatley wasn't on site the day (I assume)you were giving out to one of our Driver's who unfrotunately had broken down, so was unable to move for a short period of time. I really do think that when one is posting these incidents that the full picture should be painted and not the one sided views of disgruntled residents. I beleive it was your husband that took off at high speed, after your confrontation with 4 wheels on the pavement!
As for our new depot on Constable Cresent, isn't it better that someone is in the unit so it isn't empty attracking squaters and all sorts? But I can catigorically state the Drivers (qaulified HGV Drivers) DO NOT need to mount both pavements to enter the site. In fact the need to mount pavements is kept to a bare minimum due to the amount of damage it could cause to these very expensive vehicles. Not forgetting it was a Coach Company in residence prior to us, keeping in mind their vehicles are a lot larger and work unsociable hours. Therefore,we think we are a better tenant for these reasons.
